Help - installing solar panels

Wondered if anyone could help me?

 I'm a new member, I'm just needing some advice about installing some solar panels on my caravan

 I'm thinking about installing x2 250W solar panels, one of the panels will be directly over the axle, and the other will be towards the back of the caravan.

 Each of the panels weigh around 10 kg. 

 with this amount of weight, and the position of the solar panels on the roof, would this affect my caravan stability when towing to a dangerous level?

Andy, Unfortunately you've posted your question in the wrong place. It would be better placed in the Caravan section on the main forum.

I'm going to report your post, don't worry you won't get in trouble, in the hope someone moves it to the correct section. I'll leave a note for any Moderator as well.

Mods - Can you move Andy's post to the correct place and maybe tidy it up a bit as well as he seems to have duplicated his question in 2 further posts.

As long as you can keep within the maximum gross weight, I don't see why you could not balance the total load to maintain safety and nose weight.

I would find it difficult to believe that you would change the centre of gravity sufficiently to make a substantial difference. In a worst case scenario you may have to compensate with loading to achieve the correct nose weight as peedee states. Don't forget to check your payload allowance as 20Kg will effectively be deducted from the weight of items that you normally load.
