Hi

We are towing from Pontefract to Cromer.

We are joining the A17 at Newark. And wondered if the services at long Sutton or kings Lynn were caravan friendly with good access .

Thanks

Can’t help with services, but there is a very big ox bow layby just after Cranwell Aviation Museum (on your right) that is easy to drive through, providing it’s not busy. A17 can be a slow route, so plan well.

Before you get to either there is a cafe, both sides of the road with ample parking, you will know it as the right hand side has a load of military equipment outside.  It doesn’t have a MacDonalds etc .  I will look for the name etc later

If you know where the services are have a look on Google Maps and Street View. This should show up where the carvans are parked and how easy the spaces are to access.
