3 night stay with motorhome.

The Courts
We are a pair of elderly motorhomers and the one mistake I made was not bringing our car, although I had my bike, the site is great for cycle routes. My other half couldn’t go far, although she was more than happy to sit and read. As other reviews Paul the owner is great to talk to, he knows what people want. We walked to the Generals pub to find it closed for the day, next day walked down to the Rodney pub, only just over half a mile, pub was ok but being the steepest hill in Essex took us 30 minutes to climb back. Hope to visit again with the rest of our family.

3 night stay

The Courts
We booked a 3 night stay and wasn't disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by Paul, the owner. The site is lovely and secluded and the pitches are large and spacious. Definitely recommend The Courts for a peaceful and relaxing break.

Great CL

The Courts
Spent three nights at The Courts and what a beautiful spot. Although there are no far reaching views the woodland location more than makes up for that. Friendly welcome from Paul on arrival. This is a new CL and Paul has done everything he can to make it lovely. Huge pitches. Walks straight from the site. Would have no hesitation in visiting the site again.

A Greatly Needed Facility for the Village, and Perfectly Created

The Courts
We're used to staying on CLs and paying approximately £15 p.n., although the going rate seems to be creeping up to cover energy-costs etc. I was a little apprehensive about paying £30 per night, but booked as it's the only site in the area where we wanted to stay. The site is brand new and maintained pristinely, and must have been a huge investment for the owners, with state-of-the-art fully-serviced pitches, all separated by healthy laurels which will mature into lovely hedges. The location is perfect, on the edge of gorgeous woodland, with both central Danbury and the river Chelmer/Paper Mill Lock less than two miles away (to the south and north) through fabulous woodland/countryside walks. Our 7 nights went far too quickly, and it was a real wrench to drag ourselves away. This is a much-needed facility within the beautiful district of Little Baddow/Danbury, and we will DEFINITELY make time to return at least once a year. It was certainly worth every penny!
