Understanding search results

  • The search engine returns a results list ordered by what it considers the relevance to your query, listing the closest match first. It will show your results in groups of five.

  • The search facility is available on every page of the website (apart from Fast Track bookings) and is always located in the top right hand corner.

  • In some cases, the search engine will provide a recommended link before the full results listing. The recommended links are the most relevant for the words you typed, for example, if you searched for Abbey Wood, the system might provide you with a direct link to the Abbey Wood Caravan Site details page.

  • Sometimes the search engine will be unable to find any exact matches for your search criteria. When this happens it tries to find partial matches instead - you should see a message appearing above the search results saying "we found less than five exact matches so also looked for partial matches".

  • If the results are not appropriate we would advise you try a new search and re-submit.

  • Search results can be displayed by Best Match and Member / Non member. Best Match produces a list of results where the closest matches to your search terms appear nearest the top of the list. Member / Non member will display your search results with all member only pages first then all non-member pages.

  • You can further refine your results by using the 'Show only' box on the right. By clicking on one of the options, only results relevant to that option will be shown.
