The Caravan Club's premier rallying event - the National Rally - is held annually over the late Spring Bank holiday at the end of May. It usually takes place in the grounds of a stately home and attracts around 3,000+ outfits with an attendance of up to 10,000 caravanners.
The National Rally is organised for Club members by Club members. It is headed by the Events sub-Committee, ably assisted by two full-time employees based at The Club's Head Office. They in turn are supported by a team of volunteers who, having paid their full Rally fees, spend the vast majority of the weekend working to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We are delighted to announce that the 82nd National Rally will take place at a new venue, Prestwold Hall, Hoton, near Loughborough in Leicestershire from Friday 22 to Tuesday 26 May 2009.
Visit the Prestwold Hall website (opens in a new window) for more information about the venue.

The long weekend comprises a hugely varied programme of events including individual competitions from baking to wine making, team competitions for sporting activities like football, lawn darts, netball, petanque and volleyball as well as the children’s Mayday Club. There will also be live entertainment during the evenings.
One thing we can guarantee is the warm welcome that awaits you and your fellow members over the action packed weekend in the grounds of Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire. The Events sub-Committee very much hopes you will be able to join them at The Club’s premier rallying event. See you at Prestwold in 2009!
