To commemorate The Club's Centenary year we laid down a time capsule filled with details of The Club in 2007, its 100 year history and our Centenary celebrations - all to be discovered by future generations.
The Club laid a two cubic metre steel time capsule filled with various artefacts from The Club - photos, publications, memorabilia and so on. As part of the Time Capsules contents, we organised a competition asking for contributions from the children of members, telling future generations what they enjoy about caravanning.
The winners and their families were guests of honour when the Time Capsule was officially sealed and laid down at our New Forest Caravan Club Centenary Site in June 2008. Winners also received complimentary pitches for seven nights at the New Forest site and a family day pass to The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.
Take a look at the winning entries for each of our categories below, as well as some of the runners up.
