Bank Holiday photographic opportunities

Those people looking for an activity to take part in over the August Bank Holiday weekend while touring the country are invited to the Inspired by Gallery at the Moors National Park Centre.
Photographer Chris Caesar is due to display a collection of mounted and framed prints of the North York Moors landscape as part of a free exhibition at the facility, which is located near Danby.
Sally Smith, the National Park Authority's events and exhibitions coordinator, explains that there is something for everyone to enjoy in the region.
"Why not come and see for yourself one of the reasons why the North York Moors was designated a National Park, the largest expanse of heather moorland in England, which right now is a stunning sea of purple stretching out as far as the eye can see," she adds.
The event runs from August 20th until September 5th.
People eager to take part in other activities in the region over the summer holidays have the chance to get involved in a wide range of events at the Moors National Park Centre and Sutton Bank National Park Centre during August.
