The National Trust plans to open more than 300 of its properties for free to celebrate Heritage Open Days this year, it has announced.
On Saturday September 13th, the organisation will be providing complimentary access to facilities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, giving visitors the chance to take part in activities such as behind-the-scene tours and view rooms not normally open to the public.
Among the properties due to be opened are Penrhyn Castle in Wales, a 19th century building full of antique woodwork and brass, Tyntesfield chapel in Somerset, Berrington Hall in Herefordshire and Arlington Court in Devon.
Heritage Open Days will be taking place from September 11th - 14th and aim to celebrate culture and architecture.
People touring the country to visit any of these sites will be pleased to hear that a wide range of Caravan Club Sites are located throughout the region to cater to their needs.
