Sustrans launches new online shop
27 August 2008
Sustainable transport charity Sustrans has announced the launch of a new online shop.
The organisation states the resource is the place to go for cycling enthusiasts, whether they are aiming to buy a new bell for their bike, pick up some clothing or make a purchase for their children.
A new e-gift certificate system also allows people to give their friends and family a present which can be redeemed against any online purchase.
Julian Hunt, Sustrans information and trading manager, explains that the group is really excited about the new website as it features a host of new features such as customer reviews and wishlists.
"Every purchase made through the new online shop helps fund Sustrans' practical projects like the National Cycle Network, helping people make their everyday journeys by bike and on foot," he adds.
In recent days, Sustrans announced the launch of the Lower Bann Cycleway, a 45-mile linear cycle route on the National Cycle Route in Northern Ireland.
