The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is offering nature enthusiasts the chance to view herons by the lakeside at the Trentham Estate in Staffordshire.
RSPB staff and volunteers will be present between 11:00 and 15:30 from March 26th - 30th to provide guests with close-up views of the birds through telescopes alongside the other wildlife that lives there.
Other animals in the region include tufted ducks, mute swans, mallards, grebes and pochards.
James Keeble from the organisation explains that herons are some of the most fascinating birds to watch.
"By providing telescopes for people to see the birds up close, we hope to spark a love of wildlife in young and old," he adds.
Elsewhere in the country, the RSPB is hosting a variety of family-oriented activities at Top Lodge in Fineshade Woods over the Easter weekend, including an Easter egg hunt, face painting and a nature trail.
