Ghost walks for caravanners heading to Surrey

For those who like walking with a difference, ghost tours run by the National Trust may prove interesting.
Ham House and Garden in Surrey is holding one such event next week, so those thinking of visiting should book soon to avoid disappointment.
The walk lasts an hour and is carried out by torchlight, with guests then treated to canapes and drinks in the property's 17th century orangery.
Gates for the event open at 19:00, with tickets priced at £22. Visitors are advised that it is not suitable for children.
The ghost walks are to be held on November 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.
Ham House is located in Richmond-upon-Thames and boasts a "fine Stuart mansion" with "lavish 17th century interiors".
Its gardens have an array of lavender, which creates a "maze-like wilderness" known as the Cherry Garden.
A recent restoration attempt has seen the gates at the property being reinstated.
