People touring Dartmoor will be able to experience its Heritage Open Days this month.
From September 11th to 14th, the Dartmoor National Park Authority is commemorating the area's cultural history with a series of organised events.
Coordinated by the Civic Trust and English Heritage, the open days will include thousands of events taking place nationally.
The focus is on the role of farming to the area's cultural heritage.
People will be able to visit sites and buildings not usually open to the public, as well as enjoying free entry to places that usually charge.
Events include guided tours around Grade I listed medieval farmhouse Higher Uppacott and a two-hour moorland walk around medieval farming landscape Challacombe.
Other upcoming guided walks and local events in Dartmoor include the Farming Dartmoor Exhibition, which runs until October 8th.
Participants can go on walks and attend a Pitzwell Farm open day on September 14th.
