The Caravan Club continues to work on behalf of members to ensure that caravanners’ interests are represented at all levels and that their contribution to the economy is recognised.
The Club is regularly consulted on UK and European transport and tourism issues, and it plays an active role lobbying government when necessary to ensure that the voice of caravanners is heard.
'The Caravan of the Future'
A Centenary Exhibition was held at the NEC show in Febraury and again in October to mark the year. Visitor's were able to see The Wanderer caravan of Gordon Stables, the founder of the leisure caravan movement and ‘The Caravan of the Future’ which was unveiled on Saturday 17 February. There were displays from The Club’s archives, a short film and much, much more.
