Les Castels

Les Castels are a quality, 4 star chain of French campsites loved by many Club members. These independently-run sites are characterized by their authenticity and The Club has worked with some of them for as long as 25 years; through generations of the same families.

Each Castels campsite has a unique character, size and style, but they all share the fact that they are four-star sites offering high-quality facilities, accommodation, entertainment and activities.

Far from wanting to standardise the sites, the site owners have chosen to preserve their differences – a difference that is founded on the Castels owners’ personalities and the unique nature of their properties.

Châteaux, manors, mills, forges and farms…old buildings are essential elements of the Castels chain’s unique identity. At most of the campsites, the various services offered to members are located in historic buildings such as the reception, bar, restaurant, etc.

The Castels campsite parks are magnificent backdrops that lend another dimension to your holiday surroundings. Lawns, gardens and forests offer veritable green retreats, while ponds, lakes and rivers offer havens of coolness – there are a wide variety of areas to have fun and relax.

All of the Castels campsites follow the “Les Castels Quality Charter” and all are four-star campsites. The Castels chain was the first to join the French national “Camping Qualité” label, guaranteeing high-quality facilities and services to make holidays a success.

If you enjoy friendly hospitality and want the freedom to do something or nothing, the Castels campsites are perfect destinations for your next holidays.

Camping Domaine de Massereau

We are happy to announce that Camping Domaine de Massereau, new to Les Castels during 2007, has been added to the large number of Castels sites which can be reserved in advance through the Club’s Advance Booking System.

It can be found on page 89 of the Travel Service in Europe 2008 brochure.

This is a particularly interesting campsite as the large pitches are surrounded by woodland and the family-run vineyard, close to the town of Sommières in the south of France.
