Caravan Club Sites open to non members are assessed each year under the British Graded Holiday Parks Scheme, with most achieving four our five stars you can be assured of quality at all times.
A rating of one to five stars is awarded based on over 50 separate aspects including cleanliness, environment and the quality of facilities and services provided. The Caravan Club is proud to have achieved five-star status for almost 90% of the sites graded.
Site Grading Explained
5 stars
Exceptional quality standards can be expected with the highest level of customer care. These parks go beyond the norm in terms of quality provision. All facilities will be maintained in excellent condition in attractive surroundings and with immaculate standards of cleanliness. Minimum facilities to be provided at this rating:
- Provision of basic groceries daily, either on the park or in very close proximity (within half a mile), or by mobile visiting shop.
- 24-hour access to a public telephone.
- Appropriate park lighting.
- Heated toilet/shower blocks.
- 75% of pitches for touring caravans and motor homes must have electric hook up points.
4 stars
Excellent quality will be found at this level. You can expect careful attention to detail in the provision of services and facilities, and excellent standards of cleanliness in all areas of operation.
3 stars
Very good quality. The range of facilities may vary from park to park, but they will be of a very good standard and will be well maintained.
