Looking at the judges’ scoresheets reveals mediocre performance all-round from the Croma. Handbrake positioning and performance drew particular criticism, and restarting on the hills was a very hit-and-miss affair. On paper the engine looks OK – 150bhp at 4000rpm and 236lb ft at 2000 – but it feels gutless.
