Plenty of pulling power from the A-Class’s 2.0-litre diesel engine, there’s nothing wrong with the six-speed gearbox and to cap it all the cabin is lovely. It’s the suspension that lets the side down. The car pitches terribly, giving an unpleasant ‘bucking’ motion at speed and you feel every bump over rough surfaces. Very disappointing.
