Another 1.5-litre diesel, this time with only three cylinders. Performance was fair and hill starts surprisingly easy, but the Colt wasn’t as stable as the Kia at high speed. No problems with handling or roadholding but you have to keep to a 50kg noseweight limit.
Five doors add to this Colt’s practicality and its operating costs were commendable; but the (approved) towbar design lost marks for having no attachment point for a breakaway cable.
