Within an easy drive of the superb attractions available on the
Gower Peninsula, Gowerton Caravan Club Site is also known for its
nearby beaches which are clean, sandy and safe for swimming. These
beaches, which include Oxwich and Caswell Bays, and the fabulous
Rhossili, are supported by a range of wonderful walks along the
South Gower coastline.
Although Gowerton Caravan Club Site has its own treasures,
you'll need to go inland for the best scenery. Use the caravan park
as your starting point and head over to the Vale of Neath, to
Aberdulais Falls, to see how the waters have powered numerous
industries over three hundred years. Then on to Craig Gwladys where
you can walk the forest trails and climb the steep ascent with the
hangliders soaring above you. On again to Pont Nedd Fechan, from
which you can see nine major waterfalls on four rivers, then into
the Brecon Beacons National Park which is considered the jewel in
the crown of the Gowerton area.
