01-Top Lodge Caravan Site

Top Lodge Caravan Club Site in Corby is set in a tranquil, open meadowland location surrounded by attractive woodland. The caravan park is a superb place for leisurely wanderings in lovely landscapes; birds, deer and a profusion of wild flowers will delight the senses. Within a short distance from the caravan park you have the town of Stamford - one of the most perfectly preserved stone towns in England, it has a rich history and boasts many historic medieval buildings (BBC's Middlemarch was filmed here).

Also within easy access from Top Lodge Caravan Club Site, you can opt for a romantic cruise on the Rutland Belle or enjoy a scenic walk along the 27 miles of Rutland Water shoreline. There are cycling paths and forest walks conveniently leading from the caravan site entrance and for garden lovers, Geoff Hamilton's horticultural legacy - Barnsdale Gardens at Oakham - are superb. Bird watchers will enjoy the Red Kites at Rockingham - a scheme introduced by the RSPB, Forestry Commission and English Heritage that introduced these lovely birds to Fineshade Woods. The Top Lodge at Fineshade Woods Visitor Centre offers a unique opportunity to explore the marvels of the environment, see local wildlife up close and learn about the local crafts and heritage of the area.
