Situated near the foothills of the glorious Welsh countryside, Brecon Beacons Caravan Club Site can lay claim to some of the best views of the central Beacons, with dramatic views of Pen-y-Fan, Cribyn and Corn Dufeatures. It features a plethora of facilities that include two toilet blocks, a well stocked shop and play areas for children. A circular dog walk leads to a quaint stream and woodland area, where you'll find an adventure course - fun for both kids and adults! Its centrality provides the ideal base for touring the towns, including Brecon and Talgarth, and countryside of mid and south Wales as well as exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Brecon Beacons Caravan Club Site is the ideal location whether you are taking a relaxing holiday to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Brecon Beacon countryside, or taking a trip to the many charming towns and villages in the area. Also highly recommended is exploring the nearby hills and mountains that are ideal for walking, climbing, mountain biking or caving. Whatever you choose to do, the caravan park makes a great base from which to see the sights and if you've built up a thirst after all that activity, there's a nice local pub about 10-minutes' walk away!

Tent camping

Beacons Caravan Club Site welcomes tent campers and has tent pitches available to both members and non-members. Pitches can be booked online or by phone - To do this and to find out further tent camping information, take a look at the Beacons tent camping page...

Opening Times !!

3 out of 5

Why oh why isn't this site open? This review is based, unfortunately, upon not being able to stay! The facilities are quite obviously excellent, as evidenced by members high ratings generally BUT we are in total agreement with many other members regarding the winter closing. Such an opportunity missed by the C.C. Heated facilities, site is almost in the town and all other sites in the area are closed. I wonder if there is any intention to amend the opening times to meet the desires of members? Do we know if those that are paid to run our club for us actually read and take notice of these comments?

Our new favourite place

5 out of 5

Only recently discovered this gem of a site but have visited several times since. Wardens are always helpful and friendly, pitches spacious and well positioned. Both toilet blocks immaculately clean and warm and well equipped. Perfect! I realise that the wardens need a break but it's a pity that the site closes from the end of October to March. The Brecon Beacons can be beautiful in winter and the site seems ideally equipped to cope with wintery weather with its hard standings and heated toilet blocks. In fact, it would be fairly easy to have only one half of the site open, and only one block in use.  Looking forward to returning in spring!

Wardens

5 out of 5

Lovely site our regular haunt we agree with all already said but I would like to highlight the fact that the site is shut for months in the winter. The club must be on a loser with this also really sorry to see our wardens are all away at end of season if there are any others of a better quality than Billie and Sean and their team then I have not yet met them. Our loss is anothers gain..
