Wardens have always been friendly and helpful. We often meet a mix of people at this site and can share experiences of continental holidays. There are pitches specifically for those whishing to stay overnight and catch an early morning ferry, or for late arrivals. Post liked!

We keep meaning to stay longer to explore the local area. Its good that it has a large area outside the main site for early and late arrivals/departure, saves disturbing those that don't have to get up early. Nice pub almost on the beach at St Margaret's Bay. Dungeness is really odd but worth a visit. Nice cheese shop at New Romney - Snowdonia Cheese Company cheese - you really must try! Post liked!

Freshwater East, close to Pembroke is close to a good size beach - dog friendly too. The last time we went there we were pitched very close to a family that has several dogs, cats, rodent type things and to top it, they had a parrot in the awning. Great fun was had by all. Just a short walk to the town (even I can manage it), with some interesting shops and pubs - pleasamt ambiance and good food. Post liked!

If you love walking this is for you, nice walk into Tintagel and the other way you can walk to Boscastle for a pasty and pint before either walking back or catching the bus. Views to die for if the weather is good that's a bonus, the views are still great. Thank you Cornwall. Post liked!
