Share your event experiences

This year The Caravan Club are holding a Ball at the Grosvenor House Hotel as I am sure you are aware. Did you know that the East Sussex Centre are running a temporary site at Apps Court Walton on Thames. Near to Hampton Court Place. This temporary site is open to all Caravan Club members even if you do not intend to go to the Ball. The site opens at 12 noon on Wednesday 13th June and closes at 16.00 on Sunday 17th June electric hook ups are available for those that like a little extra comfort. If you are going to the ball The Club will have coaches to deliver us door to door.

West Sussex Centre hosted the South East Region AGM in 2011 and danced their pants off to Forever Young.  Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event a success.

We attended a new year rally at Holy Trinity School, Crawley, hosted by the East Surrey Centre. It was a brilliant weekend and the entertainment was fantastic. Well done East Surrey

I thought I would share this experience with you. We are hosting an event in March at the East of England Showground for the National Shire Horse Spring Show.

This has been clearly advertised in the last two Club magazine. All details are written in there. Temp site no electric hook ups, but really you can manage without for two nights. Honestly.

Guess what the first question members ask when enquiring about the event.

You have guessed right. IS THERE ELECTRIC HOOK UPS.

We have nearly 50 booking so far, with two months to go, and these members can all cope without !!!

Is this rally actually on the showground?

Yes we are on the Showground, about 300 yards from the display rings. When they are dressing the horses they can be veiwed from the comfort of the van.

Thanks Sandie, thought it would be but wanted to make sure. The better half is mad on horses so if she wants to go I'll chase it up via the Herts web site.

WE ARE UP TO 80 BOOKING NOW AT THE SHIRE HORSE SPRING SHOW.

I WISH THE KNEBWORTH BALL SITE WAS THE SAME. THIS IS A BIT SLOW FOR BOOKINGS AT THE MOMENT.IS ANYONE OUT THERE GOING TO THE BALL IN JUNE ?

almost done a year caravaning started last june been to some great places some people abit strange some wierd, cant wait for ledbury 1- 6th june.
