As a member of the Club I've enjoyed (and will continue to enjoy) all of the unusual places I can visit and the friends that I have met.  Whilst being a strange comment the location of some of the sites, cls and rally fields have meant that I have stayed in places and seen things that normally, I would never get access to.  Memories like sitting outside my caravan in Longleat great park  as the sun sets watching the hippos coming up out of the water to feed.  In the background the roars from the lion enclosure as they are moved to their night compound.  Along with these memories are the people we have met, and continue to meet, all over the country.  We may only bump into them from time to time but you can always be sure of a long chat over a few drinks.

So people what does your membership mean to you?

Can not imagine caravanning without the Caravan Club and the benefits it brings.

Like Dave we have stayed on some wonderful club sites but also increasingly enjoyed the location, quietness and total relaxation that can be found on some glorious CLs and for a fraction of the cost of commercial sites.

We are fortunate to live on an island with many beautiful areas to explore and great people to meet and our caravan together with the CC enables us to have a great hobby constantly discovering new areas of the UK and friends along the way.

Looking forward to the new season with pitches already booked for Cambridge, Hebden Bridge, Leek & Leyburn.

I joined the Caravan Club when I first started caravanning seriously (!) five years ago, on recommendation from close family members who had been caravanners for some years and said that the CC was the best- and my experience is that I am glad to have joined, and continue to feel that way. Knowing the high standard that is found at all CC sites is reassuring. One year I did join the other major club as well, but I was paying two annual membership fees for the same number of caravanning nights per year- in effect doubling the admin cost per night. I found the staff of the other club very welcoming and helpful when using their sites, but looking at the reviews on the ukcampsite website showed that many of their sites/facilities were not of the same standard as the CC ones, yet their prices were roughly similar, and required deposits for booking. So, it's the Caravan Club for me.

my membership means that i can go to a site that will have quality toilets and showers ,its also good to know that there is wardens who take and interest and keep the sites in very good condition ,its worth the money to pay for peace of mind ,and in paying my membership i am sure to get a good rate on any trip i go on, to a caravan club site ,

Being a member of the CC means camping on a very high level, extraordinary facilities, helpful wardens, marvelous locations, a monthly magazine we can hardly await, lots of information on the web site as well as in the site directories. And just feeling "coming home" every time we arrive on a CC site.

Joined the CC in 2010 having purchased our first caravan from friends who emigrated.  A few friends of ours had been on various rallies already and we decided to try one.  Our first rally was at Clumber Park with the Notts Centre.  It was a great weekend, with 2 nights of live entertainment, excellent location and good company.  We were hooked from thereon and have been on several rallies since, mainly with the Derbyshire Centre, with whom we are registered.  The rallies are great value for money, usually including some form of activity and a great opportunity to get together with friends, some of whom we have met since we have started rallying.

Club Member for 36 years now - what do I like, most things except high pitch fees (hidden cost for electricity) not to be confused with price per person and my membership money being spent this year on a garden that I will never see at the Chelses Flower Show!!
