Just joined today after a couple of weeks lurking.

We pick our motorhome up tomorrow - can't wait.  Not that we know anything at all about touring, we're total novices!

Insurance (including UK & EU breakdown) has just been sorted, van is being services (Cab & Hab) today.

Anything else vitally important for me to do before I collect tomorrow?

What's the first thing people do when they get a new motorhome then?

When i first put mine up i almost put it away again,it was a very windy day so maybe not the best idea.....People soon ran over to help with in 5 minutes on a non CC site after 30 mins it was up and secured followed by a few beers and nice chats over the weekend gathering information FAST...

But i do find CC sites to be a bit more quite and refined,I have and im more than willing to help others on site that look like they need some help you will find most men will not ask for help!!!,We now have a CT sticker/logo maybe we should make everyone more aware the CT forum are here to help on site and not just on line.This could save £££ of damage for people.Maybe at the recption a list of the CT members on site and what pitch.The wardens are busy and cant assist everyone.
