Walton on Trent has a restricted width bridge which is absolutely NOT WIDE ENOUGH for even the most slender caravan YOU WILL GET STUCK. member Ocean, three green stars [Online] Posted 20 July 2012 by Ocean Quote | Report Really pleased to say that we have been keeping a close eye on the rally field in recent weeks and after a further visit this week we can report that the field is still in good order even after the worst the weather could throw at it. Still plenty of room on the field for caravans and plenty of parking for day visitors at a charge of £10 per car on the gate. Post liked!
member Ocean, three green stars [Online] Posted 06 August 2012 by Ocean Quote | Report WOW what a weekend that was - we had around 150 caravans in attendance in the glorious sunshine! Thank you to everyone who attended helping to make a good rally truly memorable - however at one point during the weekend we had a medical emergency which required the air ambulance and the land ambulance to attend the rally field. Everyone rallied round and I am happy to say that the gentleman who suffered a massive heart attack on the field is now doing extremely well in hospital and will hopefully be discharged later next week.
