During the earlier bad weather, Green Flag executed their Severe
Weather Event Plan between 17th December 09 and 21st January 2010.
They took 347,941 calls during this period and attended 157,646
incidents, which was a 32.8% increase over the same period last
year.
During this period many experienced staff were transferred from
their normal duties to assist in handling the huge increase in
calls. Green Flag, who provide The Club's exclusive MAYDAY vehicle
rescue breakdown cover, had a network acceptance rate of 99.6%,
which demonstrates that Green Flag received priority from their
nationwide network of recovery agents.
