CL of the Year 2009

2009 Winners

Each year we ask our members to vote for their favourite holiday spot from 2,500 small, privately-owned informal sites known as Certificated Locations - or CLs for short.  They are often found in picturesque, rural settings, on working farms, beside pub gardens, and even in the grounds of stately homes.  CLs can accommodate up to five outfits at any one time and are for the exclusive use of Caravan Club members.

2009 winners (PDF - 33kb) were announced at a Parliamentary Reception held on Tuesday 9 February 2010. The prestigious Certificated Location of the Year awards were presented at the House of Commons in recognition of the Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act (1960), which enables The Caravan Club to grant certificates to landowners to operate CLs.
