This month we introduce you to Jonathan Laws, Financial
Controller.
Jonathan Laws - Financial Controller

What's your role at The Club?
My role at the Club as Financial Controller is the
responsibility for the Finance and Purchasing departments and the
Distribution Centre. This broad remit is to look after the Club's
finances on a day-to-day basis, ensure that we are achieving the
best value for money from all that we purchase and finally that all
mailings are sent quickly and efficiently to members.
Which Club site is your favourite, and why?
Longleat, as my children
love all the activities as there is so much to do and see and it's
only 100 metres from the entrance to the Club site.
Have you ever been on a caravanning holiday?
When I was younger and growing up in Stoke on Trent, my aunt had
a caravan based at Porthmadog in North Wales, so there were plenty
of long weekends and weeks in her caravan. Also, this August I will
be taking my own family towing (for the first time) to Godrevy Park in
Cornwall for a week. The kids are very excited about it all and so
am I.
Getting out and about is core to caravanning, what Spring
activities do you enjoy?
I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and as we have Molly, a one year
old Springer/English Pointer cross dog, we get out and about for
many walks either in woodland or on the coast.
What sporting activity do you like to participate in (or watch)
and why?
I'm very much into sport, especially football, and I try to take
part in as many triathlons as possible to keep myself fit and for
the general competitive nature of sport.
