Claire Binder - Member Marketing Executive
What's your role at The Club?
I'm responsible for the marketing of our UK Sites and our
Overseas Travel Service to members.
Which Club site is your favourite, and why?
I joined The Club in May so I've only managed to visit 4 sites
so far, but I especially like Fairlight Wood. It is a beautiful,
peaceful site and there is a little woodland path that leads to a
lovely pub where I enjoyed a delicious home cooked lunch of
sausages and mash.
Have you ever been on a caravanning holiday?
I've never stayed in a caravan or motorhome but I have camped
with my friends in the Isle of Wight. It rained the whole time and
the tent collapsed but we had great fun! I am hoping to go to
Hillhead Caravan Club Site in the spring and be able to relax on
the Cornish beaches.
Getting out and about is core to caravanning, what autumnal
activities do you enjoy?
I enjoy going out for walks in Ashdown Forest (home of 'Winnie
the Pooh'!) and I especially love the autumnal colours at this time
of year. I love bonfire night and watching firework displays so I'm
really looking forward to the up-coming seasonal events.
What sporting activity do you like to participate in (or watch)
and why?
I've been taking part in Yoga classes for the last few months
and I love it as I feel I am stretching all my muscles without
getting out of breath, and relaxing at the same time.
