This month we introduce you to Gill Heaton, Contact Centre
Manager.
Gill Heaton - Contact Centre Manager

What's your role at The Club?
I work in the Membership Services Department as a Contact Centre
Manager, responsible for the back office team.
Which Club site is your favourite, and why?
Trewethett Farm in Cornwall, for its spectacular location with
beautiful views over the Cornish coastline. I visited the site as
it was being redeveloped and was amazed at the attention to detail
and the amount of work involved in creating a site to The Club's
high standards.
Have you ever been on a caravanning holiday?
I camped with my parents when I was a child and experienced some
very wet holidays. When my children were small we owned a caravan
and had some great holidays on CLs and two memorable holidays at
Willingcott and Lleithyr Meadow.
Getting out and about is core to caravanning, what autumnal
activities do you enjoy?
I lead a very active life and love to get out into the
countryside. I have two black Labradors and take them out on
long walks in the countryside whatever the weather, they love the
water and snow. I am also a keen cyclist and get out and about all
year round. We have a disused railway line nearby, which is
great for off road cycling and at this time of year the autumn
colours of the trees and hedgerows along the route makes the
exercise more worthwhile.
What sporting activity do you like to participate in (or watch)
and why?
I love to watch athletics and football but don't participate in
either sport. I have been doing Tai Chi for 11 years which is
an internal Chinese martial art. It is good for keeping fit
and also has other health benefits. I do some exercises with
a sword or two.
