Dogs on the Longleat Estate - Change of Longleat Estate policy

Published: 06 July 2012

The Longleat Estate has advised us that dogs are no longer permitted in the vicinity of the attractions and around Longleat House. This also prevents access onto footpaths leading to the Bath Arms Public House and other areas of the Estate.

This has not affected the sites own dog walk area or access to the rest of the estate, just the attractions area next to the site that has both food outlets and falconry enclosures.

The Club appreciates how much our Members have valued the freedom of dog walking on the Estate for many years and we are working hard with the Estate to find a solution. The Estate would like to stress that they are working on this urgently and have the best intentions for Caravan Club visitors.

The Club emphasize that this is a Longleat Estate instruction and we ask that any enquiries be directed to the Estate Office.
