The Caravan Club can confirm that this year's National at
Eastnor Castle, Ledbury, has been cancelled.
As a result of the recent rain, the site is currently

event, there would be a high risk of vehicles getting stuck and
that this would clearly affect members' experience of the
This decision to cancel has not been taken lightly. It is indeed
a bitter disappointment for all concerned with the event, but this
decision has been made in the best interests of members and The
Club as a whole.
If you have booked, The Club will automatically refund in
full your fees and entertainment ticket costs by the original
payment method where possible. We have in excess of 2,300
refunds to process in booking date order. Our aim is to ensure all
refunds are made prior to what would have been the start date of
We thank you for your understanding in this matter as we know it
is a disappointment, as it is for everyone working at The Club, but
please be assured that plans for the next year's National are
already well underway.
On that note, I am delighted to announce that the 2013 National
will be held at Belvoir Castle, Grantham and we most sincerely hope
to see you there.
There is still availability across the site network for the Bank
Holiday weekend, and you might also like to consider the
Certificated Location network and Centre Rallies that will be
taking place over the holiday weekend.
