Brighton is to host a unique shopping opportunity in the lead up to Christmas, it has been announced.
Running over the next three weekends, Artists Open Houses invites people to take a look at a variety of handmade items which could make perfect Christmas presents.
The event will take place in various artists' houses and visitors will be able to indulge in a glass of mulled wine as they browse the festive wares.
"The much anticipated return of Christmas Artists Open Houses offers shoppers the chance to trade in the stress of the high-street for the fun of seeing beautiful art and craft in a domestic setting." says John Carmichael, marketing manager at VisitBrighton.
Next month will also see the Brighton Christmas Market take place, located next to the city's winter ice rink.
The great day out will be held on December 20th and a number of shoppers will be able to buy a range of gifts including jewellery, original art and floral decorations.
