Caravanning courses are proving so popular for The Caravan Club that it has added a training centre to its already extensive network.
Writtle College, located close to Chelmsford, has been named the 15th centre where caravanners can go to scrub up on their practical skills.
"We look forward to welcoming even more caravanners to our centres across the country in 2010," commented The Caravan Club's head of events Len Short.
Approximately 2,500 people take advantage of the Practical Caravanning and Caravan and Motor Caravan Manoeuvring courses every year, with more recruits expected in the future.
Centres are located all over the UK, offering caravanners tuition from professionals on how to make the most of their trips to Club Sites.
Recent data from The Caravan Club revealed that bed nights at its locations are already up by nearly half a million when compared to 2008, showing that this really has been the year of the staycation.
