Staycationers urged to give Cornwall a go

Families wondering where to spend February half-term need look
no further than Cornwall, a freelance travel writer has
suggested.
Caravan sites in the area are close to all sorts of great
attractions that will prove great fun for all the family, suggested
Linsey McNeill.
"It's got the best beaches. If it had reliable weather it would be
one of the best places in the world for beach holidays," she
commented.
Families on a budget will find there is plenty to see and do, with
activities such as surfing really starting to become popular among
people of all ages.
Cornwall is far from the only place worth exploring in the UK this
February, Ms McNeill emphasised, as the Lake District is also great
for family breaks, as is Wales.
"Many people are getting switched on to Pembrokeshire and places
like that, and stunning parts of Sussex as well," she
commented.
