There's nothing like a seaside trip to make you really feel like you're on holiday, and the Littlehampton Caravan Club Site is an ideal option.

The park is just a 30-minute walk from the Littlehampton town and its lovely beach and promenade.

It's a great destination for visitors of all ages thanks to the wide range of nearby attractions.

If you're on a family break, head to Harbour Park, an all-weather adventure park. When you're done exploring it, youcan take its miniature train along the beach front.

Another option that kids are sure to enjoy is the Look and Sea visitor centre. There are lots of interactive displays and hands-on activities, and you can get a great panoramic view of the Sussex coastline from the glass tower and dine on freshly caught local seafood at the on-site restaurant.

For a special treat, take them to the nearby Jewel's Stables for a riding lesson. The stables cater for riders aged four and above with all levels of abilities and experience.

One of the most attractive features of the Littlehampton caravan site is that it caters equally well for those that love to be beside the seaside and holidaymakers that prefer to be in the country.

At the nearby South Down National Park, you can stroll through some of the loveliest countryside in the UK. Wander the hills, marvel at the wildlife and reward yourself with lunch and a drink in a picturesque village pub.

The area is also well-suited to history buffs. Visit the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum to learn about traditional rural life in England's leading museum, or enjoy the first century Roman ruins at the Fishbourne Roman Palace.

Arundel Castle is easily reached from the caravan site so don't miss your chance to admire this ancient stately home of the Duke of Norfolk and its delightful 14th century chapel.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a seafarer, be sure to make the trip to Littlehampton Marina during your stay.

It's a small, friendly marina between Brighton and Portsmouth that's suitable for all powered craft between five and 15 metres. There are plenty of useful facilities, including storage for cars and trailers and an on-site restaurant.
