If you have older children at university you will undoubtedly be cherishing these last couple of weeks before they go back to school.
To ensure you're making the most of the time you have, why not consider caravanning holidays? They are always a great low-cost option to get away as a family and, if you head off to Northern Ireland, you can be sure you'll have plenty to do while you're there.
Gerry Lennon, chief executive of Belfast Visitor & Convention Bureau, recommends a trip to County Antrim and Belfast. In addition to the beautiful sites of the city, there are lots of festivals going on over the next couple of months.
During September, the arty among you will enjoy the East Belfast Arts Festival, which will run for five days between the 5th and 9th of September.
There will be music, visual arts, performing arts, comedy, theatre, literature and heritage events taking place, ensuring there is something to suit everyone. To put the icing on the cake, Van Morrison will be headlining on Saturday, 8 September.
If you're in the country on 27 September you will be sure to run into some Arthur's Day celebrations. The festivities are designed to remember Arthur Guinness and are a great excuse to enjoy a pint or two.
For those of you that might be able to cling onto your students for that bit longer, there is also lots to do in Belfast in October.
Mr Lennon explained: "This Autumn we're looking forward to celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Belfast Festival at Queens (19 October – 3 November), which promises to be bursting full of music, drama, theatre, talks, film, dance and comedy; for those into fashion, Belfast Fashion Week runs from the 13 October to the 21st and if you like a flutter, the Northern Ireland Festival of Racing is at Down Royal from 2 November."
To enjoy these festivities, be sure to organise caravan holidays in Ireland at Drumaheglis Marina and Caravan Park. Based in County Antrim, you can easily drive down to Belfast from your base in the beautiful countryside.
