  • What types of roads are suitable for caravans?

Most roads are suitable for caravans and motorhomes, as long as you have the space for your vehicle to travel safely. The only roads you want to avoid are single-track roads. Some "B" roads may be single-track but the vast majority have two lanes, one in either direction, and are plenty wide enough for a caravan or motorhome.

If you're unsure, you can check our campsite details pages to check for caravan-friendly routes to our campsites.
