Roofs of Old Luxembourg
A small country with a strong spirit,
Luxembourg offers you the rare chance to explore a whole country
within just one trip. This doesn't mean that the country is lacking
in things to do, just that being around 50 miles long by 32 miles
wide, nothing is out of reach.
Luxembourg City boasts a beautiful Old
Town propped on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Petrusse river,
surrounded by green gorges. The city's ramparts lead tourists on a
2 hour signposted stroll taking in some of the cobbled streets as
well as the fortified walls. The country itself also has numerous
castles remaining from its history as a strategic base for
neighbouring countries. Perhaps the most impressive is Viaden,
which is reminiscent of a fairytale castle with towering spires.
Furthermore the Ardennes region is a treasure box of dense forests,
winding river valleys and sheer cliffs.
