Northern England
Chester
Chester’s pop-up market includes over 70 traditional wooden chalets, all situated around a sparkling Christmas tree. Last year’s event was attended by a microbrewery, a hat-maker and fudge seller, while this year’s market will offer similar variety from 17 November to 21 December 2023.
Manchester
With a variety of Christmas markets across the city, Manchester’s Christmas markets is one of the biggest festive markets in the north. Soak up the Christmas atmosphere from 10 November to 21 December 2023 as The Cathedral Gardens will once again play host to the family-friendly Skate Manchester’s Ice Rink.
South East England
London
The Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is possibly one of the best-known winter wonderlands in the UK. With mulled wine, seasonal snacks, games, rides and live entertainment, this is one not to miss. 17 November 2023 until 1 January 2024 (excluding Christmas Day).
Brighton
One of the biggest winter attractions in Sussex, the Brighton Christmas Festival and Market offers a vibrant mix of unique gifts from around the globe. Visit between 18 November to 24 December and browse the stalls, enjoy the live shows on offer or get tempted by the naughty nibbles from the Apres-Ski zone.

Winchester
Winchester Cathedral provides the stunning back drop to this year's Christmas market with up to 118 traders selling locally sourced and produced items. As well as plenty of seasonal sweet treats and warming drinks there will be singers, performers and a traditional Nativity scene for all the family to enjoy. Winchester Christmas market will run between 17 November and 21 December 2023.
Bath
Celebrating their 20th Anniversary, Bath Christmas market will be transforming the picturesque streets of Bath into a magical experience from 23 November to 10 December 2023. With over 150 twinkling chalets to explore, you’ll be able to complete your Christmas shopping in one trip!
Scotland and Wales
Edinburgh
Returning to its traditional venue at East Prince's Street Gardens, Edinburgh’s Christmas market is open from 17 November 2023 to 6 January 2024. Nearby Santa Land has a children’s market and a range of traditional rides, while little ones can also visit Santa’s grotto.
Cardiff
Cardiff’s Christmas Market is run by CraftFolk, and promises an eclectic mix of returning and new stalls this year, with the market scheduled to run between 9 November and 23 December 2023. Seasonal food and drink will be available to keep shoppers warm on those crisp winter days.
