Lincolnshire countryside around our caravan sites

Explore Lincolnshire

Sandwiched between the North Sea and the counties of Nottinghamshire and Rutland, Lincolnshire is a county of exceptional natural beauty and the perfect place to visit for keen caravanners. From the iconic towers of Lincoln Cathedral and the historic Lincoln Castle to the beautiful stone town of Stamford, the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds and the breathtaking Skegness coastline, Lincolnshire is a must visit UK holiday destination.

History buffs will have plenty to explore; historic attractions like National Trust site Tattershall Castle or the stately Burghley House provide great introductions to the county’s rich history, whereas those seeking adventure can find it nearby with a range of fun activities. The Lincoln Mystery Trail is great for friends and family, while Lincoln Ghost Walks offers something different for those in search of a thrill.

Our most southern site in Lincolnshire is the Stamford Caravan Club Campsite just outside Peterborough. Set in a tranquil, open meadowland location surrounded by attractive woodland, this caravan park is a great place for leisurely wanderings in lovely landscapes.

Family holidays and activities

Those looking for fun things to do with the family will be spoilt for choice when visiting campsites along Lincolnshire’s coast. The Skegness Sands Affiliated site, perfect for beach holidays with the family, is home to a pool and children’s play area. The town of Skegness itself is just two miles from site and offers loads of fun outdoor activities for the summer months, including golf and water sports.

Another caravan site along the Lincolnshire coastline is the Sutton-on-Sea Club Campsite, which boasts a short distance to the beach and delightful promenade. The caravan site also gives you convenient access to bowling and tennis facilities, a paddling pool and putting green.

Finally, Wagtail Country Park Affiliated site is located in the calm countryside outside Grantham. Open all year, this site has attractions for everyone including fishing spots and cycle hire, with nature right on the doorstep.
