Lower Banks Farm
Enjoyed staying on this CL. Some pretty horrendous weather during part of our stay so we really appreciated the good hard standing area. There are also five grass pitches to use in better conditions. The site is very well kept and all the required facilities are on hand and easy to use. It is very quiet and there are great views. There is plenty of walking directly from the site and nearby. The CL is within easy reach of lots of places of interest including the towns of Harrogate and Ilkley. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Wharfe valley

Lower Banks Farm
Just enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing stay at Lower Banks Farm. We arrived and found a grass pitch overlooking fields and the wharfe valley viaduct, although we were also able to pitch on the hard standing area if the weather had been more inclement, the pitches were well marked out. The owners were away on a break themselves but we we welcomed by their son at the farmhouse. Upon their return Mrs Farrar again welcomed us and made sure everything was okay before cutting the grass. This is an ideal site for visiting Harrogate,Ottley ,Ilkley, Skipton and surrounding countryside of the Yorkshire Dales. Definitely a location that we will come back to.

Lovely tranquil site with amazing views

Lower Banks Farm
What a beautiful little site. The peace and tranquility were just what we needed but the site was excellently located to drive off and visit everywhere we wanted to go. It was clear where to pitch on arrival with instructions for payment etc, views were amazing, and a spotless service area with recycling etc. We had a delicious meal in the Smiths Arms, a short drive away, which was a very dog friendly pub with great service and food. The site was exactly what we love about CLs, will look forward to returning

Excellent

Lower Banks Farm
This is a stunning site set in God's own county. There is ample pitch space on either grass or hardstanding. Whichever you choose, you will have fantastic views across the valley and a friendly welcome from the site owner Mrs Farrar. You can literally hear a pin drop - away from main roads it's whisper quiet and a great place to switch off and recharge. The train station is a gentle walk down the hill (uphill on the way back) providing services towards Harrogate or Leeds. Attention to detail is outstanding. A path has been put in place to the service point over the winter to save walking over the well kept grass and the service point itself is excellent, complete with recycling facilities. This is a great site, but don't tell everyone or they'll all want to go!

Amazing views and walks

Lower Banks Farm
Absolutely gorgeous views, spacious pitches and clear information on where to pitch . We have 2 dogs and enjoyed the walks directly from the site , Almscliffe Crag is only a short walk away . There’s a dog friendly pub serving different beers 5 minutes drive away which is a bonus. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended
