Our European sites have improved
Check out some of the recent improvements made to our European sites in preparation for when overseas touring is given the green light.
We’re all hoping that foreign getaways are just around the corner – and rest assured that when restrictions ease, the Club will be there to help you every step of the way. Some of the sites in our European programme have recently improved their offerings – so your next visits could be extra special! Here’s a small selection...
Domaine du Verdon (C36) Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France
Visitors to this wonderful site in south-eastern France will have the opportunity to unwind in the fantastic new pool complex and take in spectacular views from the sundeck. Other on-site facilities include a mini-golf course and games room, while Lake Castillon (which is perfect for pedaloes or hiking trails) is a short drive away.
Du Vivier aux Carpes (P14) Picardy and Île de France, France
Close to the pretty village of Seraucourt- le-Grand in northern France, this tranquil little site now benefits from a lovely new restaurant and covered swimming pool. The fishing ponds are an obvious attraction for keen anglers, while other nearby attractions include Saint-Quentin and its Gothic, Neo-Classical and Art Deco buildings as well as First World War battlefields.
Domaine de Massereau (C33) Languedoc-Roussillon, France
Enjoying a lovely wooded setting between Montpellier and Nimes in southern France, this well presented site is celebrating its 15th anniversary. Another reason to celebrate is the fact the site boasts a brand new pool complex with wellbeing area. A cycle path leads from the site to the medieval town of Sommières, where you will find a number of good restaurants.
La Venise Verte (A37), Poitou-Charentes, France
Situated beside the River Sevre within the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park, this is a nature lover’s paradise. The site hires out canoes and bicycles for those wanting to go exploring, while guests now benefit from a refurbished restaurant that serves breakfast, dinner and takeaways. Day trip options include Île de Ré, Île d’Oléron and La Rochelle.
Delftse Hout (H06), South Holland, Netherlands
A new reception area and wash block await visitors to the excellent, family-orientated Delftse Hout campsite. The centre of the town of Delft, world-renowned for its pottery, is just a short walk away, while the attractions of The Hague and even Amsterdam are within easy reach.
