Clean Air Zones have been introduced in many UK cities. We all want to enjoy cleaner, healthier air and the Clean Air Zones are a Government strategy to improve air quality across the country by discouraging the use of older, more polluting vehicles.

If your vehicle does not meet the required environmental standards, you may need to pay to drive in or through one of these zones.

Clean Air Zones are operating in many UK cities and more are being added regularly, please visit www.gov.uk/clean-air-zones for further information and to check if charges apply for your journey.

London

If you're planning to travel around or into London, you'll need to check the LEZ and ULEZ (Low and Ultra Low Emission Zones) in place. Please visit tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/

Scotland

In Scotland, Low Emission Zones are also in place. You can read more about these at: lowemissionzones.scot
