Mixed opinions

This is a well-kept attractive site with welcoming and friendly owners. The site is small. We had planned on using our awning but were not able to due to the pitch we were on being right in the entrance to the site. The site was a great geographical location for us due to our plans in the local area for the days we were staying. The big downside is that the four other vans on the site are all permanent caravans used by workmen during the week. We were in the only ‘touring’ pitch. The other caravanners were friendly however we were woken between 6:00 and 7:00am most mornings by them loading their vans and leaving for work. Although the site is very well kept and clean the view from our caravan was of the yard with the work vans, the piles of pallets, sandbags and work equipment. It was not what we had anticipated. If you need a base to sleep and you are out and about during the day this site is reasonable. If you want to spend time on site it is probably not the best choice. If you are prepared for early awakenings and do not mind driving to wherever you are going for the day the site is fine. A shower and toilet would make it better. All in all a friendly and acceptable site but I doubt we will return.

Beautiful and tranquil site and location

I've been to this lovely little site twice now and on both occasions it has been absolutely delightful. The site is welcoming and secluded, well laid out with everything close by your pitch. The owners are really lovely people and the place is immaculate. Its a lovely little haven.

Mixed views

This cl is a really well looked after and brilliant for local places lol Basingstoke, reading, farnborough and Bracknell to name a few. Its lovely and quiet too.  Now for the mixed view.... The site is tiny which is a shame as the grounds it is in, it could have been made a few feet bigger and it would have made a world of difference. Long single axles JUST fit on the pitches. If you put an awning up you won't have room for the car. All 5 pitches are hard standing though. One pitch you can get a twin axle on by going 90 degrees on the pitch as one 'van did this weekend. Again if they had put an awning up, we wouldn't have been able to get in and out. Gate way into the drive through the brick pillars is tight too, so don't go barrelling in!  Overall a lovely well kept site, nice and quiet, shame it isn't a bit bigger!
