Hope it doesn’t rain!!!

Sadly, we never had a chance to stay at this CL as the owners cancelled our booking 20 minutes after we called them, as, and I quoted “it may rain on Friday”! I don’t know what sort of rain they are expecting in Cambridge on Friday, but it will take several weeks of monsoon to soften up the concrete like fields we have been camping on this summer! Strangely, they claim to have some hard standing facilities at this CL too.... Book at your peril...

A fantastic CL and you could not wish for more helpful friendly owners

We have just left this site after 2 fabulous days. There is a good bus route to Cambridge, the site was beautiful and I have never seen as much wildlife in one place. Could not fault anything and the owners were exceptional.

5 night stay

Just returned from a 5 night stay, this site is what C.L.s are all about peaceful, wildlife, lots of room between pitches. Cars have to be parked off site which is no problem as they are literally no more than 50 yards away ! The acces is good water points chemical disposal all easily reached recycling facilities. Excellent site within easy reach of park and ride for Cambridge, Beautiful City of Ely nearby.

Best CL we've been on!

From arrival till leaving we had a very enjoyable stay at Parkfield. Mr and Mrs Gatward were very keen on us enjoying our stay with them. We found the CL no problems and access is through a locked gate by the side of Mr and Mrs Gatward's house for which you are given a key. The site is a flat field surrounded by trees and is so lovely. Vehicles are parked away from the caravans which works well. By far the best owners we've ever stayed with and their site is lovely. Thank you.

A really lovely site

This is a lovely quiet CL with easy access and lots of local walks. The owners are very friendly and can't do enough for you. In Harston the local pub, The Queens Head is under new management and the food and service was excellent. Also the old Three Horseshoes pub is now a Thai Restaurant, again a great find. We will certainly be going back this year.
