Fab CL

We had a couple of nights at the CL in August. It is a lovely site. Shaun, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. We were there on the tail end of one of the storms the Country had suffered, so it was extra blustery. I don't think that it would ordinarily be that windy - but the clue is in the name with this site! It is in a very flat and open part of the country and so you can expect at least a stiff breeze! Shaun keeps the site well mowed with cuttings collected. If you like horses, the owners have a couple who are in an adjoining field and they are friendly too. Unfortunately, due to Covid, the pub in the nearby village wasn't open when we were there, as they had altered their opening hours. There is a little road noise - but not major. The site is very flat and you can get level on any pitch. It is easily accessed. Shaun will give you a key for the entrance gate if you want to be in and out. We have a motorhome and did not intend driving out, so we didn't need this. The access road is bumpy and narrow - but stick to following your directions - they are very good - you are not on the wrong road- it is exactly as the book says. We had one day where the lady in the property next door played her music all day - but we actually quite liked her taste in music and it did get turned off at tea time. All in all, a very lovely CL.

Lovely Site

We have just home from a 5 night stay here in our motorhome meeting up with our brother and sister in law in their motorhome. We had a very warm welcome from Sean and Julia who could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The site was flat and very well kept and we could not fault any aspect of our stay, we would definitely stay here again if in this area.

Great CL

Had great weekend, stay. Sean and Julia were so helpful, getting us around the area we had not visited before. The site has open views across the fens and very peaceful. We will be back soon.

What a great welcome!

Been to this CL on a couple of occasions now and the welcome from Sean & Julia is wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and they will assist you anyway they can. The CL is quiet and peaceful with a great outlook over fields, just the ticket to wind down in. We be going back!
