Fantastic site, lovely scenic south facing views of countryside and quiet.

Great place to stay, lovely views of the valleys from the south facing aspect. The toilet block has three toilets for five pitches, Thete is a shower and everything is cleaned daily and works well. There is hot water, a mirror and a hand dryer all in excellent working order. There are recycling facilities, chemical disposal and the water is fresh spring water that feeds the whole Hamlet. Our cups of tea are so nice! everything you need is here, electric hook up included and most important of all for us good TV and mobile reception on EE. when we arrived we were greeted By the owners who were very friendly and we found out that Chris also keeps bees, so we purchased some raw honey. the grass was cut for our arrival, we couldn’t ask for more tranquil, peaceful, clean and tidy site and definitely worth the money! you won’t be disappointed if you visit this site. Top marks

Don't Bother

What a pity that this site has been so neglected as it could be a very nice Cl. However unfortunately it is in dire need of a drastic clean up and sort out. We spent 4 nights here and on arrival the toilets were dirty and the shower stained from a leaky shower head which obviously had been like it for some time. They were not cleaned once during our stay. The bins again had been marked for recycling in the distant past but could not be read so everything went in general waste and the area again needed a good sort out. The hard standings were full of weeds and loose grass cutting followed us into the caravan. I would not recommend this site until a drastic deep clean and basic health and safety issues are addressed.

Comment from the Club:

Further to your review the CL Owner has been in touch as she works really hard to ensure everyone has a wonderful time at their site. The CL Owner has informed us they will be replacing the shower head with a new one. Please be assured that the site is regularly maintained and cleaned. It is a farm field and with the weather we have had, the toilets and showers have had mud and leaves blowing in but the CL owner does regularly clean the facilities. The grass had recently been cut which is why there were grass cuttings. We hope this helps address your concerns.

Lovely little CL

A warm welcome from the owners upon arrival, always good. They are very helpful indeed and help and advise on local walks or beaches etc if required. A lovely little site which is truly tranquil and some good scenery to boot. Very basic on amenities with 1 shower and toilet facilities plus electric hook ups to all pitches, which is how we like it tbh as the pitches are extremely roomy and you can spread out without hindrence to other holiday makers. There's also a Yurt that they rent out too which looks fab and next time we will give it a go if it's available. So overall, a great little site out of the way of everything but not too out of the way, with some decent scenery and I would highly recommend a visit to any club members wishing to stay!

Peaceful site

Just returned from a four night stay on this small site. Friendly owners, slightly slopping with three toilets and a shower. Great for visiting the beautiful seaside town of Looe. If you walk past the beach terraces you can take your dog onto the beach for a paddle. We also went to Down Derry beach which is also dog friendly and lovely for a long walk and swim. You can also park for free in West Looe opposite Looe Island on the road side. Dogs are also allowed on the beach in this area. After a short walk towards East Looe you can catch a ferry across for 50p each if you can't be bothered to walk all the way round. Would definitely use this site again.
