Favourite Site

We have just got back from our 3rd visit to this site and are already looking to book the next visit. The site is ideal for visiting south cornwall with fantastic views of St. Michael's Mount. This spacious site has very easy access and friendly owners. Although the site is immediately off the A30 this cannot be seen or heard from the site. Can't wait to return.

Our 'go-to' Site in Cornwall

This is our second visit to Bowgyheere Farm and will certainly not be our last. We were here towards the end of last summer and have just spent a super week here over Easter and surprisingly there were only two other units on the site. The drive, which as been the cause of some comments was somewhat bumpy when we arrived but during the week a tractor/digger thing has smoothed it out so there was no problem there when we left. Frankly whilst it was a little bumpy before as far as I am concerned it was absolutely nothing that a small amount of care driving down would handle. Anne Tilly came and saw us during our stay to make sure everything was OK, which it was. This is a working farm, the family are very friendly in a non-intrusive way. So yes this site comes highly recommended.

Great site, will return soon

Ignore negative comments about the access road its not as bad as its made out, yes there are some slight pot holes but if you drive like you should there is no problem, the short drive is well worth it to be rewarded with a fantastic well run site with great owners. Its a great location with loads to do in the area including a lovely walk down to the coast, which takes about 30 minutes we will certainly return soon.

Shame about the driveway

Spent several nights here in April and had pitch 2 which had stunning views of St Micheal's Mount. No one to welcome us but then it is a working farm. Facilities were standard but shame there was no recyclling which we took to the supermarkets which had facilities. TV reception good and 3G signal on EE and Three fine. £12/night was acceptable. The only drawback was the access driveway as described by many. For us it was just too much and it was the only thing that would prevent us returning.

Second visit

Just come back at the weekend, second time we have stayed at this site took two dogs, good clean, grass cut, Warm welcome, we would defiantly use this site again and again. As someone said access a bit bumpy but once you down the lane it's fine. Easy walk to Pub at Crowlas, and into Longrock, Marizion and Penzance not to far either.
